Petr Mazoch, composer and pianist living in Prague, creates minimalist, intimate ballads on the border between ambient and folk, either in the form of compositions or continuous electro-acoustic sets. In 2020, he drew attention to himself with the debut album "Gray Scales" and subsequently the release of several singles (Arrival, Leftovers, New Morning). The Gray Scales album was played several times on KEXP's Pacific Notions show, Nils Frahm included his compositions on the Piano Day Playlist in recent years. Among other things, he is dedicated to the creation of film music, musical dramaturgy ("Piano Day Prague" and the series of chamber concerts "Piano Potrvá"). He is also a member ambient project Yezerā together with Iranian musician Arash Ghasemi of the improvisational project Mazoch & Libánský.
