Petr Mazoch and Jiří Libánský are united by the piano, imagination, and a desire to let music speak freely. Within the walls of their Prague apartments, they explore the boundaries of genres and their own collaboration by feel. Petr Mazoch is known for his introspective solo work and is also a member of the newly formed project Yezerā (together with Arash Ghasemi), while Jiří has collaborated with a number of Czech artists, including Aid Kid, Děti mezi reprákama, Bratři Orffové, and Floex. Their joint improvisational project, Mazoch & Libánský, takes listeners on a journey through soundscapes where joy, drama, and melancholy blend against a backdrop of ambient and rhythmic textures. In 2024, they released a recording of their improvised set, Session SH01.
