Chalupski

Václav Chalupský, also known as Chalupski, is a composer and pianist. In addition to his solo work, he creates music for contemporary dance performances, such as Uncovered by Tereza Krejčová, The End’s Turnabout by Michal Záhora, and the award-winning production display by Tereza Lenerová and Jitka Čechová. He has also worked on the soundtrack for the short film auto.au.rum by Lukáš Valíšek, the film Příběh by Tomáš Bubák, and has composed music for the educational app developed by SkillAdicts, as well as for various commercial spots. Despite his young age, he has released two albums: Vortex (2019) and Improvisation for Dance (2022). In 2024, he released the piano EP Man of Gaeta. He also performs on piano with the bands Kalle, teepee, and as part of the backing band for the pop duo Emma Smetana and Jordan Haj.
