Beata Hlavenková

Beata Hlavenková, pianist, composer, singer, arranger and producer, is one of the most outstanding contemporary musicians with an unmistakable supergenre author's handwriting. Her main vocation is courage — the courage to experiment, to seek unconventional harmonies and arrangements. Her genre freedom, underpinned by a deep awareness of jazz, modern classical music, pop and songwriting, is intertwined in all her projects with a clearly recognizable focused and sensitive interpretation. He has six solo albums. Joy For Joel (2009), piano Theodoros (2013), as well as Scintilla (2015), Bethlehem (2017) and albums of songs and musicized poems Sena (2019) and Zijuta (2021). All of the recordings received nominations for the Angel Award, and two of them were turned over. (Theodoros - album of the year in the jazz category 2013, Sne - Performer of the year 2019 - Sino). Hlavenková collaborates with both Czech and world musicians. One of the most important collaborations is the one with Lenka Dusilová, whose joint album with Clarinet Factory - Eternal Seekers (2008) captivated both the audience and the professional public. She was also involved in the birth of Baromantica - a band and a production team. He composed music for the film (Dukla 61, Zátopek, Král Šumavy). He is also engaged in composing music for theatre, dance, children's theatre and audiobooks. He arranges songs, ranging from small forms in acoustic form or sound design, to symphony orchestra. It received two nominations for The Czech Lion in the Best Music category for the film Zátopek (2021) and the series King of Šumava: Phantom of the Dark Region (2022). She has released soundtracks Zátopek (2021) and DUKLA 61 (2024). He performs solo, or with the Band of Dreams and in a new project with a performer on the modular synthesizer HRTL.
